I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of your letter No. 9303/07 of the 24th March.

This letter was laid before the Board at a
meeting held on the 30th ultimo, and discussed at a confidential meeting. No formal resolution was made, but Mr. Shelton Hooper wished to have his opinion made known to the Government that he did not consider Mr. Bowen-Rowlands physically fit for
the arduous duties of Secretary of the Sanitary Board.
